CNC MACHINIST

You have the opportunity to apply for a CNC Machinist position with a company that has been established for over 100 years and works on a global basis.

• Formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline (HNC, HND, BTEC/NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3, Apprenticeship etc.)
• Stable work history with experience working in a heavy machining / engineering environment
• Programming skills (editing or creating from scratch) – all controls will be considered as full training will be provided

• Rotating AM & PM shifts working an average of 37 hours per week – 18% shift allowance is applicable:
• AM Shift – 40 hours per week:
  Monday to Friday 06:30 to 14:30
• PM Shift – 34 hours per week:
  Monday to Thursday 14:30 to 22:00, Friday 14:30 to 18:30

• Base Salary: £37,379 (including 18% shift allowance)
• Holiday Allowance: 33 days
• Immediate enrollment to the company pension scheme – up to 13% combined contribution
• Access to the on‑site canteen and gym
• Permanent employment with long‑term stability
