Senior Quality Engineer - Clevedon, North Somerset
£37,000 - £43,000
9 Day working fortnight, 37hrs a week, 33 days holiday, onsite parking
Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong UK & international presence they are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their close knit team.
Role & Responsibilities:- Ensuring compliance with quality standard ISO
9001, ISO
14001 in line with product and service standards - Root cause analysis, creating non-conformance reports, implementing corrective actions
- Use of process improvement tools - 5S, 5Y, 8D
- Liaising with customers regarding problems and monitor agreed corrective actions
- Maintaining quality documentation, utilization of QMS systems
- Internal and external audit management
- Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC
Skills & Experience:
- Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering Degree
- Proven experience working within manufacturing environments
- Working knowledge to ISO
9001, ISO
14001 standards - Knowledge of CMM's, GD&T
- Reading Engineering drawings
- £37,000 - £43,000
