About the role

Interested in taking on a high‑profile role that drives improved outcomes and makes a difference in patient care across Scotland? The Centre for Sustainable Delivery (CfSD) offers a Clinical Lead (Stroke) position as part of the Accelerated National Innovation Adoption (ANIA) Pathway. The role provides professional expertise specific to the development, design and delivery of the ECG Patch Monitor Programme – a national remote service for ambulatory electrocardiogram (ECG) patch monitors for people who have had an ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack (TIA) to prevent recurrent strokes.

Responsibilities

& Expectations
  • Act authoritatively as a change agent, displaying the highest professional standards.
  • Work with executive and senior managers across NHS Scotland.
  • Lead the programme design, development and delivery in collaboration with clinical teams and Scottish Government funding.
  • Support delivery of measurable improvements in care to patients across Scotland.
Qualifications
  • Registered healthcare professional working in a clinical role within Stroke medicine.
  • Experience in leading complex projects and working with senior NHS leadership.
Benefits & Work Arrangements

Flexible working options are available. The role may initially involve up to two part‑time assistants (PA) or 0.2 WTE per week. The requirement may reduce over the lifetime of the Programme.
