Van Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Motherwell area. We are looking for several dedicated multi-drop van drivers to join the team.

Shifts:

Across Monday to Saturday

Hours:

9am start (45 hour week)

Pay Rate: £13.31 per hour PAYE

Location:

Coatbridge, ML5 4EF

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

• Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver high value goods (parcels)
• Positively represent the brand, maintain a clean vehicle and be a courteous driver
• Safely load and unload parcels onto the van
• Deliver products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set time frames
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation, if necessary, and deliver high standards of customer care
• Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver up to 100 shipments per day

• A valid UK driver's licence held for over a year (if less, experience will be considered)
• Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles
• Flexibility to work 5 shifts per week
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
