Lead procurement and contract administration for Strathcona County, using Microsoft Office, Adobe Sign, and detailed record keeping. This temporary full time position may support hybrid work.
Reporting to the Supervisor of Department Purchasing and Contracts, you will support capital construction, life cycle, operational, and Fleet procurement. The position involves under threshold purchasing, contract development, and corporate procurement coordination. You will also analyze purchases and maintain contract records.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead under threshold procurement from initiation through completion
- Prepare RFx documents and coordinate respondent evaluations
- Maintain capital purchase records and analyze data
- Develop contracts, amendments, and required supporting documents
- Resolve accounts payable issues and explain purchases
- High School Diploma plus five years related experience
- Three years of contract administration experience
- Administration certificate or diploma preferred
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, M365, SharePoint, and Adobe Sign
- Knowledge of procurement procedures, claims management, and construction processes
