We are seeking a full-time Senior Glaucoma Fellow for an on-site role in Colchester. This position involves providing advanced care to patients with glaucoma and contributing to the clinical management of the department. Responsibilities include performing specialized glaucoma surgeries, participating in outpatient clinics, supervising junior staff, and contributing to the training and education of medical trainees. The Fellow will also have opportunities to engage in clinical research and quality improvement projects.

• Extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, including performing various surgical and laser procedures
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, patient care, and treatment planning
• Expertise in teaching, mentoring, and supervising medical trainees
• Experience in conducting research and participating in quality improvement initiatives
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities
• Full GMC registration with a license to practice in the UK
• Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth) or equivalent qualification
• A commitment to continued professional development and delivering high-standard patient care
