Electronics Test Engineer

Position: Electronics Test Engineer (Permanent)
Electronics Test Engineer - Colchester - Mid to Senior Level - Up to £50,000
A leading company in the test and measurement sector is looking for an Electronics Test Engineer to join their team.
This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer with experience in both analog and digital electronics who enjoys leading complex test projects and mentoring others.
Responsibilities:

* Perform in-depth testing on new and legacy electronic products

* Lead complex testing projects, managing multiple tasks and priorities

* Solve technical challenges using initiative and problem-solving skills

* Create C++ applications for automated test systems

* Mentor and coach junior engineers and technicians

* Work closely with colleagues across multiple teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering

* Experience in electronics testing

* Expertise in analog and digital electronics, including circuit design and debugging

* Proficiency in C++ or similar programming for automated test systems

* Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analysers

* Strong mentoring and communication skills
