Civil Technician

My client is a civil & structural engineering firm based in Colchester, Essex. The company specialises in delivering high-quality engineering solutions to civil and structural projects. They are now looking for a Civil Technician to join their team.

As a Civil Technician you will be responsible for:
Progressing the detailed design of road and drainage schemes associated with residential development.
You should be familiar with the calculation of external levels, the preparation of detailed drawings including long sections and drawing associated with S38, S278, S104 & S106 submissions.
Under supervision model the contours of sites and to determine external levels and be familiar with the requirements of Part M of the building regulations.
Under supervision prepare drainage models in Windes or Site 3D
Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Experience in Site 3D , PDS and Windes is an advantage but not essential
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet project deadlines
Relevant certifications or training in drafting or civil engineering is a plus
