Electrical Engineering Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineering Manager to join a global technology company in Colchester. As an Electrical Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop an electrical engineering team responsible for the design, development, and validation of complex electrical and electronic systems. The role of Electrical Engineering Manager will combine people leadership with technical oversight, ensuring high engineering standards, effective delivery, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop an electrical engineering team.
• Oversee electrical and electronic design activities from concept through to production.
• Provide technical guidance, design review oversight, and support problem-solving activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, manufacturing, and quality.
• Support project planning, resource management, and recruitment activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in an engineering leadership or management role.
• Strong background in electrical/electronic system design and validation.
