Employee Relations Advisor

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Employee Relations Partner to provide expert HR support and guidance in a dynamic, multi-site organisation. This role is pivotal in managing complex employee relations cases, coaching managers, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation while promoting fair and consistent people management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert ER advice to managers and leaders on issues such as discipline, grievance, whistleblowing, capability, absence, change, redundancy, and TUPE.
• Manage high-volume, complex ER casework from all levels of the organisation.
• Review and provide guidance on letters, investigation reports, and written communications.
• Coach managers to balance commercial needs with employment law and best practice.
• Support ACAS early conciliation and employment tribunal cases.
• Analyse ER trends to identify opportunities for policy and process improvements.
• Draft, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and templates.
• Maintain accurate records and provide reporting on ER trends and case status.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 2 years ER casework experience in an operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
• CIPD qualification (or working towards) desirable.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities.
