Fridays, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM (5 hours per week, term time only)

The Role

As a Canteen Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality service by providing drinks, confectionery, and light snacks to our valued staff and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving beverages and snacks with a smile!
  • Handling cash transactions accurately and in accordance with procedures.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the canteen.
  • Promoting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all users.
What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Level 1 food handling/hygiene qualification.
  • Experience in a customer-focused catering environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in cash handling and record-keeping.
  • A flexible attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
