Permanent, full time.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early‑career Software Engineer with a passion for technology and embedded systems. The role involves low‑level software development including UEFI firmware, micro‑firmware for system management, and Linux Board Support Packages (BSPs). The team offers mentorship, real‑world product development exposure, career growth opportunities, and a collaborative engineering culture.

• Assist in the development and customization of UEFI firmware for x86‑based SBCs.
• Support, design, develop and maintain software in the following areas:
  • Firmware and BSPs for cutting‑edge Intel processor‑based boards.
  • Middleware and device‑driver software in Linux, Windows, VxWorks and other standard OSes.
• Develop test software.
• Work with hardware designers during design, board bring‑up, and design proving phases.
• Tackle challenging customer issues escalated to the engineering team.

• Proficient in Embedded C and experience with embedded systems.
• Exposure to low‑level programming and hardware interfacing.
• Good appreciation of electronic hardware.
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Experience working in a team.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.

• Experience developing UEFI BIOS.
• Experience building low‑level embedded software for Linux or a similar OS.
• Use of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Exposure to Scrum and tools like Jira.

• BEng or similar in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
