Lakeland Catholic - Casual Custodian _ Cold Lake

Lakeland Catholic School Division is seeking reliable Casual Custodians to provide on‑call, temporary coverage to support our schools in the Cold Lake area. These casual, on‑call positions are essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors when regular custodial staff are absent.

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
• Empty garbage bins and replace liners
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and restock supplies as needed
• Wash windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness in hallways, entrances, and shared spaces
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and follow guidelines for chemical use
• Report any required repairs or maintenance
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a secure working environment

• Basic facility maintenance skills (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor plumbing tasks)
• Experience with or knowledge of commercial cleaning practices
• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing or walking
