Accounts Clerk

This is a rare opportunity for an ACCOUNTS person to join the Kennys Foodfare Accounts team based in Kilrea. The role would suit someone who has a genuine interest in pursuing a career within accounts or furthering a career in accounts.

Hours:

Full-Time, Monday to Friday (Office-based)

• Assisting with day-to-day finance operations, including purchase ledger and sales ledger processing
• Supporting with bank reconciliations and data entry
• Assisting in preparing management accounts and reports
• Handling queries from suppliers and customers
• General finance administration and ad hoc tasks to support the wider accounts team
• Ensuring all tasks are completed within agreed timelines

• A keen interest in developing a career in finance and accounting
• Previous experience in a busy finance / office team (desirable)
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, SAGE experience advantageous
• Strong attention to detail
• GSCE Maths & English
• Ability to work to tight deadlines with a proactive, "can-do" attitude
• Excellent team player and communicator
