Bohill Care Home is a modern, purpose-built facility located just outside Coleraine Town Centre, surrounded by stunning countryside. Our home features 80 spacious single en-suite bedrooms spread across two floors, along with beautifully maintained gardens that provide a peaceful space for residents to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

We offer specialised care across three dedicated units:
Dementia Nursing, Dementia Residential, and Frail Elderly Nursing, all focused on delivering compassionate, person-centred support.

As part of the Home Management Team, the Deputy Manager works closely with the Home Manager to oversee every aspect of the Home’s operation, from ensuring regulatory compliance and financial sustainability to fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The role fully supports the team in building meaningful connections with residents based on trust, rapport and creating a sense of community and belonging within the Home.

• Assist the Home Manager in the overall management and administration of the Home, including staffing, budgeting and regulatory, in addition to ensuring the highest level of clinical care.
• Provide leadership and supervision to the team, including recruitment, training, performance management and team development.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care delivery and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed in collaboration with the Home Manager and care teams.
• Maintain positive contact with commissioners and referrers to develop confidence in service provision.
• Carry out or ensure that all risk assessments are carried out in a rigorous and timely manner.
• Proactively participate in the company quality and compliance policy and procedures.

• Previous management or supervisory experience
• Sound working knowledge of the statutory requirements associated with the care of the elderly
• An active NMC pin as a Registered General Nurse with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and at least 2 years of experience gained as Nurse in Charge
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be competent using a range of IT programmes and packages
• The Right to Work in the UK
