Job Description & How to Apply Below

I'm working with a growing, entrepreneurial real estate investment firm in Columbus, Ohio, looking to bring on a Capital Markets Associate to support its capital raising and investor relations efforts.

The firm focuses on multifamily investments across Ohio and the Midwest, with a leadership team that has managed over $300M in real estate assets and 2,500 residential units.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys building investor relationships, raising capital, and taking ownership of the entire investor lifecycle.

The Opportunity

You’ll work directly with the Managing Partner and take responsibility for:

  • Identifying, engaging, and converting accredited and high-net-worth investors.
  • Building and managing an active investor pipeline through direct outreach and relationship development.
  • Driving capital raises from initial investor conversations through to funded commitments.
  • Managing investor onboarding, subscription documentation, and accreditation processes.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing investors through regular communications, reporting, and updates.
  • Supporting investor acquisition strategies, CRM management, and ongoing capital formation initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience personally raising capital from accredited investors, HNW individuals, or private investors.
  • Background in real estate private equity, syndications, private placements, or alternative investments.
  • A demonstrable track record of securing investor commitments and closing capital raises.
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial or growing investment platform.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to independently manage an investor pipeline.
  • Familiarity with Reg D 506(b)/506(c), subscription agreements, and investor accreditation would be advantageous.
Why Consider It?

This isn't a traditional investor relations role focused solely on reporting and servicing existing relationships. You’ll have direct exposure to the firm’s leadership, genuine ownership of capital raising initiatives, and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in growing an investment platform.
