Experienced Dental Nurse

Job Summary

West End Dental Colwyn Bay has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Dental Nurse to join our professional and friendly team.

We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for patient care and a strong background in dental nursing. Additional experience in radiography, sedation, and implants is highly desirable.

Based at our Colwyn Bay clinic, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality dental care and ensuring the smooth operation of clinical procedures.

• Providing chairside assistance to dental surgeons, therapists, and hygienists
• Supporting complex treatments including implants, sedation, and radiography (if qualified)
• Cleaning and sterilising instruments and surgeries to the highest clinical standards
• Offering compassionate patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience
• Efficiently managing stock, clinical notes, and patient records
• Adhering to infection control and health & safety protocols

• GDC registered Dental Nurse (or working towards qualification)
• Experience in radiography, sedation, and implant nursing (preferred but not essential)
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills
• A professional and caring approach to patient care
• Confidence with IT systems, including Microsoft Office
• A commitment to maintaining high standards and continuous professional development

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm)
• Occasional travel to other West End Dental locations (mileage allowance provided)
