We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Locum Team Manager to join our Children’s Services team in Colwyn Bay. This temporary role is for an initial 12 weeks, with the potential for extension. You will be working full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role is perfect for an experienced professional looking to make a difference in children’s lives while enjoying the flexibility and variety that locum work offers.

- Engage and support children, families, and carers, placing them at the centre of decision‑making processes to achieve desired outcomes.
- Develop resilience and independence in service users, promoting an empowering service culture.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act 1983, and maintain alignment with best practices in social work.
- Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience.
- Registered with Social Care Wales.
- Experience in working with vulnerable individuals, particularly those aged 18 and over.
- Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
