Qualified Nurse - night duty

Registered nurse to take charge of shift.

Must have a valid UK NMC PIN. Oversee care workers by supervising care of residents.

Dispense and record medication administration.

Maintain records and other relevant documentation.

Give nursing care as required, in accordance with clinical governance requirements and guidance andmux standards laid down by the NMC. Observe confidentiality at all times.

Communicate effectively with other health workers and professional colleagues to ensure continuity of care.

Be familiar with the Home’s policies and procedures, particularly those relating to nursing and care

DIY issues.

Perform duties in accordance with National Minimum Standards, Health and Safety and other relevant legislation.

Work as an effective team member and attend staff meetings and training as required.

Maintain Revalidation folder and ensure that practice is kept up to date.

Contribute to the training and development of staff as appropriate.

Perform, as required, any duties that contribute to the effective running of the Home
