Salary: Starting salary is £12.47 per hour, with increases with training and progression

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

Shifts: 12 hour shifts (36 hours per week); days and nights

Week 1: 6am – 6pm, Monday to Wednesday
Week 2: 6am – 6pm, Thursday to Saturday
Week 3: 6pm – 6am, Monday to Wednesday

We are recruiting for a Production Operative to support our busy manufacturing facility. We are looking for someone who ideally has previous experience working within a production environment or within the Printing industry; however, if you are keen to learn the role, full training will be provided.

You will be responsible for ensuring the product quality consistently meets and exceeds our customer specifications and that production targets are met by focusing on continual process improvement. There will also be the opportunity to progress into Gravure Printer or Colour Mixer roles for the right candidate.

• Excellent observational skills
• The ability to work well under pressure
• The ability to use own initiative and resolve problems
• Ppt/flt/bendi license would be an advantage but not essential
• The ability to work well as part of a team and also function independently
• The ability to prioritise daily tasks to maintain efficiency and housekeeping standards
• The ability to perform manual handling
• Good time management skills with the ability to multi-task

With our rotating shift pattern, you get 7 rest days every 3 weeks. In addition to this you will get 5 weeks holiday plus 8 bank holidays each year. We offer a 5% pension scheme that comes with a 4x salary life assurance scheme, paid breaks and staff discount on products.
