Starting at £12.47 per hour, with increases upon training and progression

Shifts:

12 hour shifts (36 hours a week). Shifts run days and nights as follows:

  • Week 1: 6am – 6pm, Monday to Wednesday
  • Week 2: 6am – 6pm, Thursday to Saturday
  • Week 3: 6pm – 6am, Monday to Wednesday
About the Role

We are recruiting a Production Operative to support our busy manufacturing facility. Experience in a production environment or printing industry is preferred but we offer full training for motivated candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure product quality consistently meets and exceeds customer specifications.
  • Meet production targets through focus on continual process improvement.
  • Support team through self‑initiative and problem resolution.
  • Opportunity to progress into Gravure Printer or Colour Mixer roles.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, printing or similar production roles preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and use own initiative.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain efficiency and housekeeping standards.
  • Manual handling capability.
  • Valid right to work in the UK (required).
Key Skills
  • Excellent observational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Use own initiative and resolve problems.
  • PPT/FLT/BENDI licence advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Prioritise daily tasks to maintain efficiency and housekeeping standards.
  • Good time‑management skills with multitasking.
