Health & Fitness Advisors (Gym Instructors) help people to live well & for longer. They are passionate professionals who help customers on the gym floor with their health & fitness needs – from new gym users, to rehabilitation and pushing the hardcore harder. Delivering inductions and designing programmes to help people achieve their goals is a key part of the role, and Health & Fitness Advisors also keep our gyms vibrant, safe & clean places that people want to come back to time and time again.

If you enjoy working as part of a team & making people smile, this is a great role. It’s a pathway to further opportunities in the leisure industry, for example as Personal Trainers, Fitness Instructors and Duty Managers. Health & Fitness Advisors need to be qualified to Level
2. Hours per week: 16.9.

Salary:
Salary Grade D: £12.49.

Congleton Leisure Centre. Closing date: 4 January 2026.

• Provide engaging inductions and personalised fitness programmes for customers of all ages & abilities.
• Help customers make the most of their workouts and support rehabilitation where applicable.
• Maintain a welcoming, energetic gym floor presence and contribute to a vibrant, safe, and clean gym environment.
• Support team colleagues and contribute to an enjoyable customer experience.
• Assist with health & safety and maintain equipment and facilities to a high standard.

• Health & Fitness Advisors must be qualified to Level 2 (as standard).
• Appropriate certifications and ongoing training are expected as part of the role.
