Customer Team Member (18+)

Blakemore Trade Partners – SPAR Conwy (Conwy, United Kingdom)

Hours: 16 hours per week (7am‑3pm or 3pm‑11pm) – rotating shifts.

Salary: Up to £12.25 per hour (depending on age).

• Greeting customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Answering customer inquiries and assisting in product location.
• Processing purchases efficiently and accurately through tills.
• Upselling selected products and highlighting multi‑buy offers.
• Working stock: checking deliveries, stocking shelves, maintaining a clean and organised sales floor, rotating stock for freshness and expiry dates.
• Completing additional assigned tasks such as date checking, stock and gap checking, price changes, promotional displays.
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures and processes.

• Previous experience in a similar retail role is preferred.
• Reliable following of instructions with excellent attention to detail.
• Understanding of legislative responsibilities in a retail environment.
• Ability to contribute ideas for exceptional customer service and business growth.
• Experience of using a ‘Challenge 25’ policy desirable.
• Keen and enthusiastic approach to working both in a team and independently.
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not essential.
