We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on automation and control systems within the Water & Wastewater industry. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality solutions from design through to commissioning, ensuring compliance with client standards and industry best practices.

Purpose of this job is to develop software for water and wastewater projects and support automation teams.

• Creation of design documentation such as FDS, system architecture designs, PLC I/O lists, PLC hardware selection.
• Software creation to client standards using new or existing function blocks.
• HMI creation to client standards using new or existing mimics.
• Software testing with simulation or hardware.
• Software commissioning.
• Network setup with other PLCs on site.
• Telemetry testing.
• Client management.

• Anelectrical qualification or previous experience as electrical engineer.
• Mitsubishi GX Works experience or certification.
• Allen Bradley Studio 5000 Logix experience.
• Siemens TIA Portal / Unified HMI experience or certification.
• Wonderware SCADA system experience.

• The post holder may be required to work outside of standard hours.
• Travelling outside of Cookstown may be required.
• Driving licence required.
• Completion of relevant safety courses required.
