Project Planner
Location:
CDE Group Ltd, H1, Kilcronagh Business Park, Cookstown, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom.
The Project Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure the timely delivery of objectives. This role provides accurate planning, forecasting, and progress reporting to support effective decision‑making and resource allocation. The Project Planner works closely with project managers and stakeholders to identify risks, manage dependencies, and maintain alignment with project scope, budget, and timelines.
Responsibilities- Support the Project Management Office function by creating and managing project plans throughout the entire project lifecycle using ERP system.
- Pro‑actively review the plan with the necessary departments to ensure everyone is working to the latest information.
- Continually monitor and record project progress to ensure the project plan is always up to date.
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure the Project Team is aware of the time commitments.
- Highlight any risks to the schedule as early as identified and put mitigation plans in place if necessary.
- Participate in and chair regular project meetings.
- Communicate weekly and monthly KPIs to the PMO Team.
- Drive continuous improvement by regularly reviewing processes and implementing change where necessary.
- To adhere to CDE policy and practice.
- To adhere to CDE safety policies and procedures at all times.
- To carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.
- 3rd level qualification or extensive other desirable criteria.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- MS Project/Excel advanced reporting.
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Attentive to detail.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Enthusiastic, energetic self‑starter able to work on own initiative.
- Willingness to develop and adapt to new situations.
- Team Player.
- Available to work flexible hours.
- Clearance to work in UK.
- Degree in a relevant discipline.
- ERP System Development.
- IFS knowledge.
