About the RoleReporting to the Regional Sales Manager – Northern Ireland, you will be responsible for the sales of products, systems, and services within the Electrification, Smart Buildings division. You will achieve qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction while identifying new sales opportunities.
Your Role & Responsibilities- Sell products, systems, and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for assigned divisions.
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand their needs and promote ABB’s complete product and systems offering.
- Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Prepare sales plans using authorized tools.
- Perform regular status reviews and propose recovery plans if there are potential order shortfalls.
- Create added value for customers and ABB, ensuring successful outcomes of contracts and proposals using effective sales techniques.
- Communicate delivery times, payments, and general terms and conditions in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.
- Ensure efficient marketing activities and communicate value proposition to customers.
- Identify and drive development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
- Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support cash collection and project management activities when needed.
- Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
- Drive application of standardized marketing and sales processes and tools (Salesforce, account plans, etc.) for the account.
- Proven experience in portfolio management, business strategy, and go-to-market execution.
- Strong commercial and market insight, including market intelligence and competitive analysis.
- Demonstrated success in driving customer experience, adoption, and long-term customer success.
- Solid understanding of pricing strategy, budget ownership, and delivery against performance targets.
- Strong account management and business development capability, driving sustainable revenue growth.
- Experience in sales enablement, general sales practices, and solution/application sales engineering.
- Proven ability to work with channel partners and indirect sales models.
- Sound knowledge of contract management, risk management, and regulatory/legal compliance.
