A Vice President of Finance is a senior executive responsible for overseeing an organization’s financial strategy, operations, and risk management to ensure fiscal health and support strategic growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesA VP of Finance manages the company’s financial operations and provides strategic guidance to senior leadership.
Core duties include:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling to guide decision-making and optimize performance - Accounting Oversight:
Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax filings to ensure accuracy and compliance - Strategic Advisory:
Advise the CEO and executive team on financial decisions, investment opportunities, and risk mitigation strategies - Capital and Investment Management:
Oversee corporate investments, capital allocation, and cash flow management to maintain liquidity and support growth
