** What You'll Be Doing
*** Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on industrial equipment
* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime
* Install, align, and dismantle machinery and mechanical systems
* Fabricate and weld components using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
* Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure equipment reliability
** What Are We Looking For
*** Strong mechanical aptitude with proven skills in welding and metal fabrication
* Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
* Familiarity with rigging, hoisting, and precision alignment of equipment
* Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement
* Red Seal Millwright certification or equivalent trade qualification is an asset
** Conditions of Employment
*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
** Work Environment
*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
