** Dispatcher

As a Dispatcher, you’ll play a key role in ensuring efficient daily operations by coordinating driver schedules, addressing on-route issues, and supporting the dispatch team. You’ll act as the main point of contact between drivers, operations, and customer service - making sure routes run smoothly, service issues are resolved promptly, and the team stays on track.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Oversee daily dispatch operations and route assignments
* Support, guide, and coach dispatch staff to meet service goals
* Respond to customer and service issues in real time
* Work with routing specialists to improve route efficiency
* Monitor driver check-ins and ensure accurate documentation
* Lead daily safety tailgate meetings
* Coordinate with operations, customer service, and maintenance
* Maintain accurate dispatch records and data entry
* Assist in planning daily driver coverage based on service needs
** Requirements:
*** 2+ years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation (lead or supervisory experience is an asset)
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
* TRUX experience is an asset, or willingness to learn
* Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed
* Knowledge of routing and scheduling best practices
