Engineering Manager

70,000 + 6,400 Car Allowance
A leading food manufacturing business in Corby is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager. You will lead a team of engineers, ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the highest standard and that production runs efficiently. Food industry experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the engineering team across maintenance and production support
- Oversee planned maintenance schedules and reactive maintenance activities
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise plant efficiency
- Manage budgets and engineering projects
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager in manufacturing, preferably in the food sector
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of maintenance systems
