Job description

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Welder/Fitter.

The Role - Welder / Fitter:

• fabricate / weld - MIG & TIG, stainless steel and mild steel welding as well as fitting & installing on site
• To fabricate medium-gauge metal components up to 10mm
• Working from engineering drawings
• Working independently and as part of a team

Minimum Skills / Experience Required -Welder / Fitter:

• Have a good engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience in site welding and fitting
• Ability to work with all types of metal up to 10mm
• Must have good attention to detail
• Be able to finish a product to a very high standard
• Be punctual and a good timekeeper
• Be confident, organised, and methodical
• Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to motivate others
• Work well as a team member
• Be able to problem-solve and come up with solutions
• Own transport is essential
