Support long term care services as a Social Worker I in Corner Brook, using social work expertise in an institutional health care setting.
Western Zone is recruiting for CBL Social Work at Corner Brook Long Term Care Home. This temporary full-time position runs until 31 March 2027, with possibility of extension. The role is scheduled for 75 hours, eight-hour days.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide social work services within long term care
- Support residents in an institutional health care setting
- Apply knowledge of long term care practice
- Bachelor of Social Work degree
- Registration with Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Social Workers
- Social work experience in institutional-based health care preferred
- Knowledge of long term care preferred
