Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Position:
Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £45,000-£47,000

Shift: Monday - Friday (Double Days)

Location:

Cornwall (Commutable from Truro, Bodmin, St Austell, Bude, Looe, Lostwithiel, Newquay & Surrounding areas)

We're looking for a multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias, ideally with food industry experience ready to keep the production running at peak efficiency. You'll work a rotating Monday-Friday shift pattern (mornings/evenings) and enjoy an excellent benefits package.

The Role

* Service, maintain and repair factory equipment to minimise downtime

* Attend breakdowns quickly and effectively

* Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and test equipment

* Work confidently with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems

* Maintain high health & safety and GMP standards

* Support continuous improvement and site projects

* Communicate clearly with engineering and operations teams

* Keep accurate records and ensure smooth handovers

What We're Looking For

* Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, installations and fault-finding

* Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills

* Ability to read system drawings and manuals

* Proactive, safety-focused and team-oriented

* Willing to support colleagues and cover across the site
