The City of Cornwall is recruiting for Casual Part-Time Advanced Care/Primary Care Paramedics for our upcoming 2026 onboarding class starting May 4, 2026. To see the full job posting and to view the 2026 Cornwall Paramedics Recruitment Guide, please visit:

Casual Part-Time Paramedics must provide at least sixteen (16) shifts of availability per calendar month. At least eight (8) shifts must be on the weekend, and at least six (6) shifts on nights. Casual Part Time Paramedics are on a one (1) year or 2080-hour probationary period. Casual Part Time Paramedics must apply for a Full-Time position and selection will be based on Part Time Seniority.

Assigned hours will be based on availability provided and staffing requirements.

The City of Cornwall offers a competitive salary starting at $41.52 per hour for Primary Care Paramedics and $44.45 per hour for Advanced Care Paramedics.

    Advanced Care Paramedic

    Position Summary

    The Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) delivers advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care and safe transportation for patients in critical condition. This role involves performing advanced assessments, administering life-saving treatments, and handling complex medical emergencies. The ACP collaborates with other emergency services to ensure optimal patient outcomes while adhering to all applicable regulations, standards, and protocols to maintain high-quality care.
