A well-established accountancy firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can manage and review accounting and tax work while supporting the development of junior team members. The position combines technical delivery, client interaction, and team leadership.

• Review and oversee the preparation of statutory and management accounts
• Supervise the completion of personal, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Prepare and review tax planning calculations as required
• Act as a point of contact for clients, providing clear and accurate financial guidance
• Ensure work is delivered accurately and within deadlines
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Review work produced by junior accountants and provide constructive feedback
• Support, coach, and mentor team members to develop technical capability
  
  Assist with performance reviews and ongoing development discussions
• Handle confidential information professionally and discreetly
• Identify process improvements and support operational efficiency

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice at a senior level
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
• Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
