Overview

Responsibilities- Support day-to-day resourcing requests and requirements.
- Manage relationships and expectations with fee earners, senior team members and partners.
- Speak to partners and all fee-earner levels to find resourcing solutions for new and existing matters.
- Follow up with fee earners to gauge capacity.
- Maintain a log of resource requests via Collaborate / High-Q.
- Negotiate and problem-solve resourcing challenges.
- Identify suitable fee earners for cross-team projects to balance workloads.
- Inform individuals when they have been allocated to a matter.
- Prepare management information packs, reports and analysis as required.
- Lead specific projects as assigned.
- Update Collaborate with resourcing request information and fee-earner details.
- Coordinate and plan for trainee seat rotations.
- Support matter chasing to encourage adherence to process.
- Produce and collate data for surveys, newsletters, presentations and reports.
- Provide administrative support to senior resource executives and resource managers, including booking meetings, desks, parking and travel.

- Experience / knowledge of another law firm or professional services firm (preferred).
- Experience in resource management, legal support (PA, team assistant) or business services (HR, marketing) (useful).
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills; confident communicating at all levels.

- Excellent attention to detail, prioritisation, multi-tasking and accuracy.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with work-allocation tech or similar applications is an advantage.
