What You’ll Be Doing as HGV Shift Supervisor:

Overseeing the workshop team during your shift, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met
Supporting and mentoring technicians, providing guidance when needed
Allocating jobs and monitoring progress to keep workflow on track
Carrying out hands-on maintenance, servicing, and MOT prep on trailers and HGVs when required
Ensuring all compliance, health & safety, and VOSA standards are adhered to
Liaising with management to provide shift updates and highlight any issues

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as an HGV Technician with the ability to step up into a supervisory role, or previous experience as a Shift Supervisor/Workshop Foreman
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in HGV maintenance preferred, or time-served background
Strong communication and leadership skills to manage and motivate a team
Solid knowledge of compliance, safety standards, and VOSA requirements
