About the RoleWe’re looking for a dynamic and results‑driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in the North East. You’ll identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with employers and stakeholders, and help shape tailored training solutions that make a real impact.
What You’ll Do- Develop a pipeline of training and apprenticeship opportunities in the region.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and growth areas.
- Create and implement strategic plans to meet business development targets.
- Represent MTC Training at industry events and networking forums.
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Proven experience in business development or sales within training or education.
- Strong knowledge of apprenticeships and workforce development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
