Art and Design Technician

Job Overview

To provide high-quality technical support to the Art & Design faculty, ensuring safe, effective preparation of materials, tools, and equipment, including woodwork and workshop machinery, to facilitate outstanding teaching and learning across Art, Design, and Textiles. As an Art and Design Technician within Sidney Stringer Academy, you'll be able to make a key difference to a pupil's educational experience as a crucial part of the wider team, and will have the opportunity to develop your skill set with key training and development opportunities available.

• Minimum GCSE or equivalent in English and mathematics
• Experience working in an art, design, workshop, or creative environment
• Experience using machinery or hand tools safely
• Practical skills in art, design, craft, or workshop processes. Ability to safely operate and maintain workshop tools and machinery (training can be provided).

Grade 4 £ 22,552 - £25,633 pro rata pa (37hrs)
