• Take ownership of financial systems, ensuring they are effective, efficient, and aligned with the company's needs.
• Setting up new accounts/projects and associated budgets, access control, liaising with Sage business partner, error logging, update scheduling, etc.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting.
• Analyse financial data and provide insightful recommendations to support key business decisions.
• Support system upgrades and implementations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
• Provide training and support to internal stakeholders to maximise the use of financial systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and best practices.

• Strong experience in financial systems management and accounting practices.
• Experience of maintaining ERP finance software (Sage Intacct experience preferred).
• Ability to analyse, query and report on data to deliver value to management.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• A working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping with ability to turn a trial balance into a set of accounts.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
