We’re working with a growing specialist property lender to appoint a senior leader to oversee bridging credit and underwriting. This role sits within the wider leadership team and carries responsibility for credit quality, underwriting performance, and team leadership across a fast‑paced lending function.

• Act as a senior credit decision‑maker within delegated authority
• Lead, develop, and support a team of property finance underwriters
• Provide guidance on deal structuring and complex cases
• Review and approve credit submissions and loan documentation
• Manage pipelines, workloads, and service levels
• Ensure strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
• Drive continuous improvement across credit and underwriting processes

• Strong background in bridging or short-term property lending
• Proven underwriting or senior credit experience
• Excellent understanding of UK lending regulation and credit risk
• Confident stakeholder management and leadership capability
• Commercial mindset with high attention to detail
