Area Credit Manager (Coventry)

Melbreck Technical is working with a leading blue‑chip company whose products are sold worldwide. Their portfolio spans next‑generation aerospace technology to breakthroughs in medical devices. Due to a large number of ongoing projects and financial structure improvements, a brand new role has been created in the UK and they are looking to hire an Area Credit Manager in one of our locations near Coventry.

Salary: up to £85,000.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the credit and receivables portfolio across the designated region, ensuring sound risk management while supporting sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Play a vital part in achieving corporate cash‑flow objectives through the implementation of effective credit strategies, financial tools, and process enhancements.
  • Promote process standardisation, improve productivity across the value stream, and ensure strict adherence to global credit policies and standards.
  • Provide reporting and analysis on credit performance, risk assessments, and collections activities to senior management.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
  • Experience in credit management, accounts receivable or trade finance.
  • Industrial, multi‑national or banking experience is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of credit risk assessment and experience evaluating creditworthiness and managing credit risk.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret financial statements and reports.
  • Familiarity with credit and trade finance tools, including UCP and relevant bankruptcy laws.
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent reporting skills: ability to prepare and present reports on credit performance, risk assessments or collections activities to senior management.
