What you will do:

  • Manage and deliver effective social work services for children, adults, and families during out-of-hours emergencies.
  • Provide professional supervision, guidance, and oversight to children and family workers and casual staff during shifts.
  • Respond to urgent calls from the public and professionals, offering assessments and coordinating responses.
  • Act as a main contact point for providing advice, risk assessments, and planning interventions.
  • Collaborate with agencies to promote and safeguard the welfare of vulnerable individuals.
  • Represent the Local Authority in complex matters, including legal instructions and court appearances.
  • Maintain accurate records and administrative duties to support the cohesion and function of Responsive Services.
