Housekeeping Assistant - Bank

Overview

This is a temporary Housekeeping Assistant role at Avery Healthcare's Bank location in Tile Hill. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry in the care home, working as part of a team. The successful candidate will have experience in cleaning and laundry in a public setting, and demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality service to residents.

Your focus as a Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to the standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained. Other responsibilities will include carrying out all cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect.

• Carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understand the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Ensure that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.

• The ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
