AWS (AWS Cloud Platform) Cloud Security (L2)

Location:

Coventry, UK

Hybrid mode of working

Looking for active security clearance

• 5+ years of experience in cloud AWS is preferable.
• Hands-on experience designing or implementing 2 projects in Cloud, AWS preferred.
• Awareness and design exposure of Cloud Security and compliances (CIS, GDPR etc.).
• Knowledge of CSPM solutions like Prisma, Wiz, etc. is an added advantage.
• Experience with native AWS security services (Security Hub, Config, WAF, VPC, Guard Duty, KMS, IAM, AWS Firewall Manager, VPN Gateway, Cloud Trail, Storage Security, Cloud Watch).
• Understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Understanding of ITIL processes.
• Functional understanding of O&G/Manufacturing sectors.
• Experience with tools like Service Now.

• Responsible for timely closure of incidents, service requests and change management for cybersecurity or escalation to next level.
• Use automation solutions using Lambda, SNS or SQS.
• Work independently with internal and external stakeholders regarding cybersecurity.
• Create/update knowledge base articles.
• Maintain SOPs.
• Attend daily/weekly meetings.
• Ensure security compliances.

• BEng./MEng degree or equivalent in Cyber Security (preferred).
• 3+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience; 5+ years in AWS cloud security operations. Experience in AWS required; GCP/Azure/OCI experience is an added advantage.
• UK Security Cleared preferred.

• AWS Cloud Security Specialty
• AWS Data Professional and Security certification considered an added advantage
