• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Employee Policy and the JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly safety checks; report and chase all defects.
• Recruit and manage a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants to cover club operations.
• Hold regular team meetings for development and updates.
• Achieve sales and membership targets and maximise secondary spending revenue.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and ensure cleaners meet standards.
• Process weekly banking tasks to minimise waste and maximise profit.
• Enforce uniform standards across the team.
• Deliver outstanding member service and create a positive work environment.
• Serve as an ambassador for JD Gyms.

• Proven managerial experience within a leisure or related industry.
• Passionate customer‑service focus and inspirational leadership style.
• Track record of driving sales and coordinating local marketing activities.
• Experience recruiting and managing successful teams.
• Preferably a General Manager role overseeing all business areas, or substantial experience as a Fitness Manager.
