We have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Manager to join our Capital Delivery team.

This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work across the network and spend approximately three days per week on-site across all five networks. A Full UK Driving Licence is required, and subject to meeting the mileage requirements a Company Car/Car Allowance will be provided.

As a Programme Manager, you’ll take ownership of a significant portfolio of workranging from large scale Capital works to high volume smaller investment programmes - focusing on programme management rather than individual project delivery. You’ll lead programme, planning, governance and assurance processes, embed structured lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement across Capital Delivery whilst working closely along side the operational and commercial functions.

Qualifications &

Experience:

  • Degree in Business or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience leading large-scale, complex programmes with robust governance and benefits realisation.
  • Knowledge of PM methodologies
  • Confident stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Line management experience and a collaborative leadership style.
