About the Role
Junior Program Manager at Multimatic will lead program management activities, ensuring projects meet schedule and budget, maintain stakeholder communication, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage project timing plans to ensure deliverables are achieved on time.
- Manage spending costs against project budget.
- Liaise with customers and support enquiries.
- Coordinate relevant project updates and information between stakeholders.
- Host regular customer project reviews.
- Track progress and implement necessary changes.
- Work closely with the MP&L team to ensure parts are received on time.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation (specifications, schedules, part movement records).
- Support quality, productivity, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are maintained.
- Take photographs and video for internal and/or external job‑related correspondence, respecting usage restrictions.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Maintain a clean, tidy working environment.
- Previous experience within a programmes department.
- Understanding of budgets, cost optimisation, and negotiation techniques.
- Proactive approach with a positive and professional attitude.
- In‑progress Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Desired Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE), if in progress.
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Capability to work self‑sufficiently as part of a larger team.
- Problem‑solving mentality.
- Comprehensive IT skills:
Microsoft Excel essential; SAP desirable. - Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a low‑volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to support business needs.
- Willingness to learn new skills and development ambition.
