CNC Miller Setter Operator

Location:

Coventry (Commutable from Coventry, Leicester and Birmingham)

Salary:
Starting rate £23.73 per hour (£42,571.62 per annum), rising to £25.39 per hour (£45,549.66 per annum) including shift allowance after 6 months, plus unlimited overtime

Shifts:

Weekend dayshift - Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 06:00-18:00

The Role

As a CNC Miller Setter Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines within a precision aerospace environment, working to set production times and targets.

Key responsibilities include:

Setting and operating CNC millers (3-6 axis); knowledge of aerospace would be useful
Working on Boko and Correa machines
Working with 3 to 6 axis CNC machinery
Providing flexibility in relation to operating more than one machine
Working to achieve set production times and targets About You

To be successful in this CNC Miller Setter Operator role, you will have:

Mechanical apprentice training or be qualified by experience

Experience with 3 to 6 axis CNC machines
Good written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivation with the ability to multi-task, with guidance and supervision
The ability to read and work from engineering drawings
