CNC Miller Setter Operator

Location: Coventry (Commutable from Coventry, Leicester and Birmingham)

Salary: Starting rate £23.73 per hour (£42,571.62 per annum), rising to £25.39 per hour (£45,549.66 per annum) including shift allowance after 6 months, plus unlimited overtime

Shifts: Weekend dayshift - Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 06:00-18:00

As a CNC Miller Setter Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines within a precision aerospace environment, working to set production times and targets.

• Setting and operating CNC millers (3-6 axis); knowledge of aerospace would be useful
• Working on Boko and Correa machines
• Working with 3 to 6 axis CNC machinery
• Providing flexibility in relation to operating more than one machine
• Working to achieve set production times and targets

• Mechanical apprentice training or be qualified by experience
• Experience with 3 to 6 axis CNC machines
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self‑motivation with the ability to multi‑task, with guidance and supervision
• The ability to read and work from engineering drawings
